Blue Cup Productions was founded by UNC graduates Taylor Sharp and Holland Randolph Gallagher.
Raised in a mountain town in western North Carolina, producer/director Taylor Sharp has since spent his days seeing the world through the lens of his documentary subjects. His debut feature Hoops Africa: Ubuntu Matters premiered globally on NBA TV and his NBA G League docuseries The Break, narrated by Shaquille O’Neal, currently airs on Tubi/ESPN+. Taylor’s feature documentary Momma, a film about grief chronicling the life and loss of his mother, is in production, as well as Hoop Portraits: A Life in Basketball, a love letter to basketball thirty years removed from the release of Hoop Dreams.
